The Seahorse, more precisely Yellow Seahorse based from its appearance, is a tropical fish found in Teman Paradise Beach. It is one of the rarest fish in the location and quite skittish. In water, it looks like a small brownish curlique that hard to spot, especially if there's other fish swimming in the area.
Locations[]
- Teman Paradise Beach: Teman Paradise Beach (West & Central), Shop Waterhouse
Bait[]
- Blue Bait (S-M)
- Quick Hitter (S-M)
- Rainbow (S-M)
Technique[]
The main problem with this fish is its tiny size that makes it really hard to see, especially with the larger fish distracting the player with their bright colors. Another problem is that the Seahorse tends to hit last when there are many other fish around, as it's quite skittish.
The best location to find this fish is the three dark rocks at the right side of the central beach area, because the fish spawn point is quite close to the shore and thus, more easy to see. The Seahorse can be distinguished here by its thin, curly shape. It can also be found behind the Shop Waterhouse, but other fish may take your bait before the Seahorse gets to it.
Any S-M size rod and reel will work.
Trivia[]
- Seahorses has an unique reproduction process among all fish. After fertilization, the male carries the eggs inside a specialized pocket, and then "giving birth" when they hatched.
- Seahorses are one of the slowest sea creatures, as they are only able to propel themselves with a very small fin on their back.
