The Red Stingray is a temperate fish found at Teman Paradise Beach. It is a stingrays for moderate size (around 4 to 6 feet in size) and the only ray than can be properly caught in the game (the other one, the Manta Ray, must be seen on the Submarine Tour instead). Although it appears quite early in the game, it is much more powerful than it looks and can break the line if you're not careful.

Techniques[]
This fish is very obvious by its flat and wavy outline and can be easily seen in the crystal clear waters of Teman Paradise Beach. There can be up to three in a visible area. The best places to find it are the eastern beach, before the Big Catch Rock area, and the Big Catch Rock Area itself.
The Red Stingray is tough to reel in, as you might find if you are using the HF-1400 Hamstring. It is better if you save your points and catch something else (e.g the Japanese Bullhead Shark) to upgrade your tackle before trying to catch the stingray.
This fish will jump out of the water when it is caught.
